Is Your system infected with Parasites?

As a rule people do not mind being subjected to a little bit of advertising in exchange for a good piece of free software providing they have been made aware of the fact that it is a condition of using the software.  They don't however like to be subjected to bombardments of pop-ups advertisements that degrade system performance to the extent that it is almost unbearable, cause system 'crashes' and which often leave security holes for hackers to exploit!   Whats worse is that some programs are now incorporating 'Spyware', which deliberately tracks your habits on the net and passes the information on to third parties and marketing companies without your knowledge. So how did they get on your machine?

Sadly in an effort to make money many software providers and manufacturers now install secret software to spy on your computer activity on the net!  It can also be picked up unwittingly in freeware/shareware applications or from banner ads on websites.  Once installed on your PC (almost always secretly) it sets itself to run on start-up and begins monitoring your usuage and habits.  By recording the details of the sites you visit it can then build up a profile on you and allow the provider to deliver the advertising to you it thinks is most likely to generate sales.

This is bad enough but it does not stop there some of this software can also record other aspects about your habits and personal information and then relay that information without your knowledge (but at your expense!) to a server somewhere on the net where the information can be traded.

A word of caution however - Don't Panic! it is important to remember that most of these Adbots, or spyware programs are NOT collecting specific information about you and are making no attempt to steal; your details, credit card, banking information or other personal information, although the fact is that these capabilities do exist. We should also remember that it is important not to classify all Adware in this argument as many companies are honest about such aspects and have developed secure delivery systems. In fact for several companies this has become a serious revenue that allows them to offer you products free in exchange for the receipt of advertising and when used correctly should pose no significant privacy threat.

Whilst the team at Spyware-Adware-Removal clearly recognises that there is a place for such software we firmly believe that you should be given every opportunity to opt out of it if you wish to do so.  You have the right to know if any software you are considering installing contains adware/spyware and you should be clearly informed of this fact.  Perhaps more importantly we also believe that you should be able to remove such software with ease if you so wish.  But unfortunately much of this software hides itself deep in your system often altering the registry in an effort to protect itself and enable it to 're-install' should a user attempt to delete it - some can be almost impossible to remove by hand unless you are an expert.

Spyware-Adware-Removal has therefore collated details of the best of the spyware, adware, malware and other parasite removal tools, which should help you overcome any problems you may be experiencing - Be sure to take back control of your PC and you decide what software you are willing to run!
